  Food is very good most of the time, but the fries and hush puppies we're burnt black. Who ever was doing the cooking knew this and knew it was not eatable. They say they will replace it when we are back through. We will see.

  This is an old time classic restaurant that you would see on grease, dirty dancing, or cry baby. Not only do they have the look of a diner from say, the sixties... The food quality is still there as well and amazing. You have to love places who have held onto their roots and charm and refused to change with the times. Its places like this that remind our youth where we came from. And all you have to do is pull up and order from your car. Which adds to the nostalgia of old school diner. You would almost expect a roller skating waitress to come to your car. So you get to chose how you would like to experience the place, inside or out. I hadn't been there in a while and I had been trying to find a good, classic club sandwich and I thought I forgot about Tommy's! Needless to say they knocked it out of the park and I went back two days in a row this last time:)

  We used to love Tommy's but after tonight I don't think we will be back. Both my wife and I ordered the minced BBQ plates mine with chili cheese fries and hers with the fried pickles both our buns were partially burned, the hush puppies were all way over cooked/burned, my chili cheese fries were extremely soggy and greasy like they had been fried then refried to reheat and still not hot when I got them and to make it worse even after complaining they still charged me extra for the fries that I couldn't eat. Not sure what happened to this place but won't be going back any more.
